Easter in Tulsa

we drove to Tulsa (kev's parents) over Easter weekend; hadn't been there since Christmas, and Kev's grandma wasn't doing well. we are so glad we went, because she went to be with Jesus just a few weeks later. and hey, no laughing at myah's too- short-Easter-dress! she grew like a weed!

a friend of mine's parents live/work in china and her mom brought myah this dress the last time she was home. couldn't get a very good 'front' pix of her in it, and of course, her hair's a mess-but isn't she breath-taking?!

on two different weekends during the march-april timefrme, my parents drove down to provide some relief; one of those weekends, kevin was cross-country, so they were lifesavers! my mom planted a flower garden in the back yard; my dad fixed things that only dads know how to do; myah had a blast with them actually playing with her; meals were fixed for us; and i got to sleep! thanks again for all the hard work!

ZOFRAN saves the day!

since i was still puking my guts out at 12 weeks, i was finally perscribed the strongest meds; Zofran. it definitely helps with the puking, but i still felt pretty lousy. but wait! i shouldn't complain! anyway, in march, several of my OSU girlfriends were having a baby shower for four of our sorority sisters-since i was now on zofran-i could actually leave the house. after the shower, we met kevin's parents at a park, fun!

this was during what i call 'my dark days' of practically living 24/7 on the couch with 'the bowl' close at my side. i'd gotten on the floor to change her diaper and of course, she runs the other way-believe me, i barely had the energy to get the camera, let alone chase her. it became a game that didn't last very long. a pregnant mom and toddler don't always mix real well! :)

HERE WE ARE!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!

SURPRISE! if anyone is even checking this anymore-i'm back! wow, it's been a super long time. altho i'm feeling lots better these days, i'm now hesitant about blogging again; esp since so much time has passed...now the thought of playing 'catch up' makes me sick :) well, i think i'm just going to post mainly pictures, not text. so, enjoy the pix and thanks for sticking it out with me! this picture is of us celebrating our one year anniversary of "gotcha day." it was on march 27th. we are still in shock at how the time has flown and at all the huge changes myah's gone thru! what a wonderful year, Lord!
