chinese new year

here is our little chinese princess at a local chinese restaurant with other families with children from china to celebrate the chinese new year. isn't she so stinkin' cute?! grandma patsy and grandpa harold were visiting this weekend for kev's birthday, so they got to join us (and let mom eat!) :)

Disney Live!!!!

as part of myah's Christmas, we got tickets to go see Disney Live. it was this past weekend and even tho her face didn't show it AT the show, myah couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. eli did great and even feel asleep on kevin's lap, chewing on his finger (see pix). ha! we're going to Disney World this summer with my parents and my brother and his family; so it's fun to see myah 'getting into' a lot of the Disney characters!

here's a quick pix of eli and his friends; charlotte and alek. us new mommies get together on somewhat of a regular basis-remember there were about 8ish of us that had our babies within 6 weeks of each other. it's really getting fun watching them grow, and we moms feel so much better when we realize we're not alone in some of our newborn challenges! next time we get together, we'll try to get a 'group photo' of the babies...by the way, charlotte was born a week before eli and alek was born two days before eli-and yet my baby boy outweighs them by far! he was 15.6 lbs and 27 1/2 inches at his four-month checkup last week! wow! what a big boy he is!

a fun Merry Christmas...

we drove to tulsa and enid for Christmas. had a good time with our families and watching myah as she really got 'into' Christmas this year. sweet baby Eli did well, except for his sleeping-for some reason, he woke up every 2 hrs at nite...tired mommy, tired baby.
