shopping 4 essentials

after the med exam, they took both bus loads to this store/mall for food, diapers, etc. we all met back up outside while waiting for the busses to come get us. i should have taken a pix of the scene; happy parents with happy, beautiful babies!

getting better

she's doing so much better at getting the cheerios from her hand to her mouth. not every time is a success, so we feed some to her-but she sure is trying. love those cute little hands! oh yeah, gramma betty-this is the outfit you got her! lots of compliments on it!

vanilla coke!

mom's happy! can't get my favorite drink in america anymore, so we had to buy some here! no, grandmas-we didn't give her any! : )

just saying hi

on the bus-man! we're gonna have to take bus rides around phoenix when we get back since it's become such a part of her schedule!

i love this!

it is so fascinating to watch myah taking things in. she's so calm. again, lots of honking cars zooming by, she never jumps or acts scared. by the way, normally she'd have had a nap by now-been up since seven-no nap, just went thru a chaotic med exam and she's as content as can be! we are blessed, i tell ya!

no way!

i hadn't met this couple yet; turns out they are with a different agency, but when i asked them where they were from-they said TULSA, OKLAHOMA! get out! we couldn't believe it! did i mention earlier that a grandpa and grandma who are travelling with their son and daughter-in-law are OSU alumni? this is crazy! we had to come half-way around the world to meet people from oklahoma!

don't you hurt my baby!

look at how good she did! of course, i was close by just incase-wow! she's SO stinkin good!

such a good girl!

nope, no fussing from this little peanut. by way, she's about 25" long and 16 lbs, but we're all wondering about that...her chunky friend sophie is 20 lbs; can't be right. anyway, she's healthy-no matter what the scale says!

medical exam

goooood morning! wow, this little one slept til seven this morning (her normal wake-time has been 5:30). she was so exhausted from yesterday's travel and changes, plus-she was real snotty and cough-y last nite; so i know she wasn't feeling good. anyway, it's been SO fun to meet back up with everybody and seeing so many ADORABLE baby girls! here we are at the clinic; it was an absolute zoo! people and babies everywhere; some crying, some asleep. long lines and very hot inside. this is a mandatory check-up for all the babies. all passed, thank you Lord. how did myah do, you ask? see for yourself on these next few pix...PS, neal and bec-we are SO grateful for this baby bjorn you got us. it's been perfect; she does so well in it AND we love doing the bonding-thing...eye-2-eye contact and being so close together! thanks!

the hallway sisters

this was a few of us in the hallway, while the daddies were packing up all our stuff; today we leave for guangzhau-the capitol of the southern guangdong province. this will be our last stop and we've heard greeeat things about it. we'll also reunite w/ the other part of our group that we were in beijing with (pre-babies). baby lainey is to the left of myah and baby melody is to our right.
